Phone call asking for my car info but no company name

This number 1-844-494-1720 called me and wanted me to verify my name and the make and model of my vehicle. I started asking them questions about what company they were with and the name of the caller. They wouldn't give me any info but kept trying to get mine.

I hung up and called the number back. An automated system picked up but it still doesn't say who the company is. Just blocked the number after that.

Caller knew my name and car make, got rude

This number called me and the lady on the line knew my name and what kind of car I drive. Right away that felt off. She started asking me questions and wanted information, but I told her I wasn't giving anything until she told me who she was with and why she was calling.

She got rude real fast. Not professional at all. I told her if she was legit, she wouldn't mind answering a few questions. She just hung up on me. So I called the number back and the next person hung up too.

I never got any answers about what company it was or what they wanted. Just two hang ups.
