Text from someone pretending to be my new boss

I had just started a new job and I got a text from someone saying they were the director of the organization I work for. They said they needed help with a task and asked me to go buy gift cards.

Then they told me to send a picture of the receipt and the back of the cards. It was all through text. I lost $100 from this. I had just started this job so I didn't really know who was who yet.
