Phone call saying I would be served legal papers
She said I owe a loan company that is not on my credit report. I don't remember getting a loan with that name and if I did it is already past the 7 to 12 year mark. She asked me for the last 4 of my social and she already had it and I verified it without really thinking. That was it.
Jennifer said she would call me tomorrow to serve the papers between 3pm and 5pm. She said if I don't get the papers then ABA or ABR will go to court without me. I don't know if any of this is true. I only answered because I am waiting on an important call. These folks need to be stopped. It is very upsetting that they are doing this to people. I looked up the number and 833 is a possible scam number. smh.
