Text about a debit card charge led to $1700 gone

I got a text message asking about a debit card purchase. They said they were from Academy Bank but they were just pretending. It seemed legit enough at the time.

I gave them my payment info and they charged my accounts for $1700.00. I can't believe I fell for it. The phone number they used was (832) 324-0819 and they are supposedly located in CA. Just wanted to report what happened.
