Caller from 425 area code after my car accident
At the time I didn't think anything of it. I figured maybe it was related to the police report or my insurance. But then I checked with Ecautious.com and realized these people might just be collecting my info to sell it. I gave them details I probably shouldn't have. I'm not sure what they're going to do with it or who they passed it along to. It just feels wrong that they called me up like that when I was already dealing with everything from the accident.
Caller after my car accident asking personal questions
They started asking me a bunch of leading questions about my injuries and the damage to my car. At the time it felt like they were just doing an intake for help. I didn't think anything of it until later when I checked with the BBB Scam Tracker.
That's when I realized this might have been a company just trying to get my personal information to sell. I didn't give them any money, but I'm still bothered that I talked to them at all. They are located in WA. Just wanted to put this out there.
