Quote request turned into a wire transfer mess

I got contacted by this company, addobecontructions.com, about powder coating some items for them. The guy, Donald Smith, emailed me from [email protected] and seemed legit at first. He wanted a quote, which I gave him, and then he said he wanted to move forward.

He said he was going to wire a deposit but then asked for my account info. Instead of wiring it, he gave me a credit card to charge. The money went through at first, but then he recalled the payment after it was deposited. In the meantime he was pushing me to arrange the shipping and pay for it out of pocket, saying he would reimburse me. The shipper he wanted me to use turned out to be a scam company too. They took the money for shipping and now I'm out that amount and the chargeback on the credit card is happening. His phone number is (281) 454-3703 and the address he gave was 10235 W Little York Rd, Houston, TX 77040. I didn't lose the deposit money but I'm stuck with the shipping costs and a bunch of headaches.
