Debt collector keeps calling about New York Fitness

Aldous and Associates have been stalking me for a year about a debt collection for New York Fitness. They demanded my checking account and bank information on the phone. I called New York Fitness and they said I do NOT owe them money, they never heard of Aldous and Associates. Now this company shows up on my credit report and ruins my credit.
