Phone call saying my flight was delayed and I owed $99
I googled AA customer service and 8004337800 popped up. Talked to this guy and I wanted to book something soon so I just followed everything he said. He had an accent which was the first red flag. Then he asked for my birthday. Then some other stuff I don't even remember now. Then he asked for $99. I gave the company card and they said it didn't go through. Asked for my personal card and that one went through.
I got an email but it wasn't from American Airlines. I freaked out and called my banks and cancelled my cards. Then I had to call other banks to gather money to get back home. Whoever you are Mike, ask yourself, are you really happy today? Will you be happy on your last day? I learned a lesson to slow down.
Someone said they were with American Airlines and took $999
I already told KCB Bank about the fraud. I want my money back and I want this man prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
