Paid thousands to lower my mortgage and nothing happened

I got a call from this company, American Residential Solutions, and they told me if I paid them $1639.75 for three months, my monthly mortgage payments would go way down. They said after that, the rest of my balance would be forgiven with my mortgage. Sounded good at the time, I guess.

I sent them the money orders like they asked. They were supposed to record those payments to my mortgage and my interest rate was supposed to drop too. I paid them $4919.25 total.

None of that happened. My mortgage is the same as it always was. I called them but nobody picks up or returns my messages. Their website is American Residential Solutions and they have an address on Maxess Road in Melville, NY. I just want to know where my money went.
