Phone call about back taxes from American Tax Advisors

I got a call from this number (877) 733-1672 and the person said they were from "American Tax Advisors" and that I owed money in back taxes. They gave me another number to call them back at which was 888-359-3522.

I wasn't sure what to think. I didn't really believe them but they kept pushing. I didn't give them anything or send any money. Just wanted to report it because it felt off.

Calls all day about a tax balance I never knew about

American Tax Advisors keeps calling me nonstop. They use different phone numbers every time so blocking them does nothing. I never answer but they leave voicemails all day long saying I have some tax balance.

I have no idea what they are talking about. I never got any letter or notice from them before this. They just started calling out of nowhere. It’s getting really annoying. I can’t make it stop because the number changes every time.

Automated calls every day from someone named Ashley

I’ve been getting calls all day long for the last month. Every single one has an 833 number. It’s an automated voice every time, saying they’re Ashley from American Tax Advisors.

I don’t even know who these people are. I never asked for anything from them. It’s just the same recorded message over and over. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve picked up or listened to the voicemail.

It’s getting really annoying. I haven’t given them any money or anything, but I want them to stop calling me.

Calls every day about tax returns from different numbers

I keep getting calls to my mobile phone from tons of different numbers. I have a list of them in a Word doc but the recorded voice always says they're from American Tax Advisors. Something about helping me with unfiled tax returns and payment plans.

It's really getting on my nerves. I get multiple calls from these numbers every single day. I'm honestly disgusted that my phone provider Tello can't block this kind of thing better. It's just incredibly annoying at this point.

They keep calling about tax stuff no matter how many times I block them

I keep getting call after call from these people calling themselves "American Tax Advisors" and it's driving me nuts. I block the number and they just call from a different one the next day. Every time they leave a message saying something about "sensitive matters" involving tax balances or unfiled tax returns that need to be addressed.

There is no way to get off their calling list. I have blocked so many numbers already and they just keep coming. The phone number they called from this time was (844) 658-1464. I know this is a scam, plain and simple, but they won't stop. It's the same message every time. I just want them to leave me alone and there's nothing I can do about it.

Voicemail about tax debt from American Tax Advisors

I didn't answer the calls, just let them go to voicemail. On 8/14/2026 they left a message from "Jessica" saying it was a time sensitive matter about tax balances or unfiled returns. They said a notice was sent about programs that could reduce or eliminate what I owe. Said it might be their final attempt before the programs expire.

They left the same exact voicemail on 8/6/2026 but the caller said her name was "Emily" and that call came from a different number, (833) 419-6129. The one on 8/14 came from (855) 468-2201. I never got any notice in the mail from them. Just these calls.

Phone call about tax balances and unfiled returns

I got a call from a woman named Ashley who said she was with American Tax Advisors. She said it was Wednesday August 12 and that she was calling about a time sensitive matter involving tax balances and unfilled tax returns that still need to be addressed.

She mentioned a notice was recently sent outlining programs that could significantly reduce or even eliminate what I owe. The thing is I don't recall getting any notice like that. And I'm not even sure I owe anything. The whole call just felt off. I didn't give them any info but I wanted to put this out there so others know.

Calls from Emily at American Tax Advisors about my taxes

I have been getting calls 2x a day from "Emily" from American Tax Advisors. I already filed and paid my taxes so I know this is probably a scam.

They keep calling from different numbers too. I have 833-501-0741, 888-706-7499, 866-822-9284, 877-465-1731 and the main one is (877) 712-5454.

I don't know why they keep trying. I haven't lost any money but it's getting really annoying.
