Credit repair deal cost me twelve thousand dollars
They promised that once I completed the payments, they would give me a larger term loan. That was the big hook. I kept sending money because I thought I was getting closer to that bigger loan. The phone number I had for them was (347) 902-7984 and the address they gave was in NYC, NY.
I ended up losing $12,000 total. After I made all the payments they asked for, the larger loan never came. Just silence. No more replies to my emails or calls. I feel pretty stupid about it now. They made it seem so real and I really needed that loan so I guess I ignored some red flags. Now I'm out twelve grand and have nothing to show for it.
