Letter about unclaimed money from a real estate investor

I got a letter in the mail from someone named Robert Harris. It said he was a wealthy real estate investor and precious stone dealer. The letter said he could file a claim to help me recover unclaimed money.

There was a phone number on it, (226) 703-5832, and a website, www.andrealakers.com. The address listed was just Yonge Street in Toronto, ON. There was also an email, [email protected].

I didn't lose any money, but none of it made sense. I don't know who this person is or why they would be contacting me about unclaimed money.

Letter saying a dead relative left me $11 million

I got a letter claiming a relative of mine had died and left behind unclaimed insurance money. $11,550,300.00. It said I might be his relative because we have the same last name, and he supposedly died from Covid.

The letter said I was supposed to work with an attorney to claim the funds on my behalf. 10% would go to charity and the rest would be split 45% and 45% between me and the attorney. I was supposed to email the attorney, Davey Jones, at [email protected].

I threw the letter out. It was obviously a scam.

Letter in the mail from a website I never used

I got a letter in the regular mail from someone at www.andrealakers.com. The address on it was 2762 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON, Canada. There was also a phone number, (226) 703-5832, and an email, [email protected].

The strange thing is my brother and sister have the same last name as me and neither one of them got this letter. Only me. I have no idea who these people are or why they would be sending me anything.

I never signed up for anything from them and I never lost any money, but the whole thing feels off. It looks like some kind of phishing attempt.

Letter about a dead client and $11 million

Got a letter same as one reported 9/10/26. Mine came 9/11/26. It says there's a permanent life insurance policy of a deceased client worth $11,550,300.09. The client died of COVID 2 years ago, no relatives, was a real estate investor and precious stone dealer.

The envelope was mailed in Greensboro NC. They want to split it 45%, 45%, and 10% to charity.

Phone number on it is (226) 703-5832 and the website is www.andrealakers.com. Address is 2762 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON, CAN and email [email protected].

Email from an attorney about a big insurance claim

I got an email from someone claiming to be an attorney. The email address was [email protected]. They said they could help me claim $11,550,300 USD from some insurance thing.

The email had a website on it, www.andrealakers.com, and a phone number (226) 703-5832. There was also an address listed, 2762 Yonge St, Toronto, ON, CAN. None of it made sense to me.

I didn't lose any money but I don't know how they got my info. Just seems like phishing.
