Job with Apollo AI Project turned out to be a money sink

I got involved with this company called Apollo AI Project, based out of Los Angeles, CA. Their website is apollosystem.org and they had an email [email protected]. They offered me a job helping develop AI by doing human input on tasks. Each task had a monetary value when you finished it.

They gave out tasks in groups, one group per day. They set a monetary goal and said once I reached that goal, the funds would be available to me. But I noticed pretty quick that the tasks were all the same content over and over. And after a short time, the value of each completed task got cut in half. I asked their customer service area about it on the site, but they just said a ticket was set up for my inquiry. I also got a couple messages from someone named "Susan" with FAQs. I never got a single real reply to anything I asked. Lost $464.38 total.

Hello, I too have been working with Apollo AI for approximately a month now. I read your review with great interest and am having the same experience you detailed. The promotional video I watched explained in detail on why the AI industry wants the human feedback and both Musk and Zuckerberg explained why this research is of value to the AI industry and both emphasized and all of these tasks should pay significant dollars (initially $4--$12 per task at level 1). Now most of the tasks are paying $0.05 per task (a nickel)! It does not appear as though the company is being honest about the money. I am dealing with some debt and this looked to be a good opportunity. I have already sent several emails to their support but only one reply, and that was from "Susan", but she did not adequately address these concerns.
