Text saying I bought AirPods but I never did

I got a text message saying it was from Apple, telling me I was charged 200 and something dollars for AirPods. I don't even have my phone number registered with Apple in any way, shape, or form, so there's no way they could have known to send me that text.

When I called the number, the man on the phone said someone else would call me to help with the "refund." Then that person called me and just hung up instantly.

I never bought anything, and I didn't lose any money, but it's still weird they'd send that out of nowhere.
