Text about a $278.50 charge from Chicago that wasn't mine

I got a text saying to contact Apple support about a transaction of $278.50 that was attempted from Chicago from a device not associated with my account. It had an authorization id 9374615-tzwn. The message said if the charge wasn't authorized to call 888-416-9652. The text came from 227-266-9466.

I called the number because it said to if the charge wasn't authorized. When I realized it was a scam I told the man I was reporting it to Ecautious and he just laughed.
