Offer to enter to win a free Dell computer

This was something my husband saw on Facebook. It was an offer to get a free Dell computer. He paid shipping charges of $13.53 then found out it was just an offer to enter a drawing to win the computer and couldn’t cancel the payment. Our bank sent me a Fraud Alert text. I searched for this company (ARVITECHPULSEOUTLETSU) online and found a review from someone who had a similar thing happen and was hit with multiple charges. The Fraud Specialist closed the card and directed me to call our bank and dispute the pending charge since it’s more of a scam and not really fraud. So thanks to the person who did the review I’m referring to. And thanks to our bank for alerting us to possible fraud.

Home Depot survey turned into surprise charges on my card

I was on the Home Depot website and saw this thing saying take 5 minutes to complete a survey to have your name entered into a drawing to win a free garden utility cart. You just pay a processing and shipping fee. So I did the survey.

Then they ask for my credit card information, which I thought was for the processing and shipping fee. Next thing I get is a note saying thank you for your payment of $11.95 for entering your name in the drawing to win the free garden utility cart.

Now they have my credit card information and they charged $11.95 on Sept 25, 2026 and then an additional $76.95 without any approval by me on Sept 27, 2026. ARVOXTECHPULSEOUTLETSU CANDLER USA is a scam.
