Political survey focus group paid $150 but never heard back

Got contacted by Atkins Global Research about a focus group. They said they’d pay $150 for it. It was a political survey. I answered all their questions and then nothing. No follow up, no payment, no reply.

Now today I got another email from them offering $100 for something else. I didn’t respond. Their website is atkinsresearch.com and the phone number is (323) 996-3096. Some address in CA. Not sure what the deal is but feels like a waste of time.
