Caller knew my birthday and social but used old address

Someone called me about a debt collection. They knew my birthday and the last four of my social, but they used an address I haven't lived at in 20 years. I asked them to send written documentation and they refused. They said they already sent it to my old address. Then they said they would email it instead and I never got anything.

Atlas Credit Consumer Attorneys contacted them for me and then told me they were fake. The number they called from was 1(216) 867-6258 and they said they were in Cleveland, OH. I didn't lose any money but this whole thing was strange.
