Text saying my 2018 Toyota RAV4 coverage file is pending closure
It said reply STOP to opt out which I didn't do. I just don't understand how they got my information or why they're saying my coverage file is pending closure. I never gave anyone permission to contact me about this.
I wanted to report this because it seems like a phishing text trying to get me to call them. I haven't lost any money but I don't want anyone else to fall for it either.
Text about my 2026 Nissan Sentra file that makes no sense
I don't know what this is even about. It says it's the last request for a response on some file, but I have no idea what file they mean. I've never contacted anyone about a Nissan Sentra or an auto service department.
I'm pretty sure this is some kind of phishing attempt. The number it came from was (833) 400-7271, and there's a different number in the text telling me to call 1-844-494-1720. Nothing about it adds up.
Text saying my Honda file was moved to closing status
I don't even know what that means. I never asked for anything like this and I have no idea who these people are. There was a reply STOP to opt out at the bottom which makes it seem like some kind of bulk message.
I didn't lose any money but I just want to know how they got my number and why they're texting me about a Honda file.

It listed my car's year and model too. Then it gave another number to call, 1-844-494-1720, and signed it Auto Service Dept.
I don't know what file they're talking about. I never signed up for anything like this.

They had my name right but the car info was wrong. I don't know where they got my name from but the car they mentioned isn't even mine.
There's also a number on the text, (833) 400-7271. I didn't call either one.

I did not engage with it. What stood out to me was that instead of putting the actual model of the car in the message, they just left it as "Model". That made it pretty obvious it wasn't real.

I don't know who these people are. I never signed up for anything like this. It just came out of nowhere and it doesn't make sense.

I don't know who these people are. I never signed up for anything like this and the number they gave doesn't match the one the text came from, which was (833) 400-7271. That seems off to me.
