Clothing site says NY but ships cheap fakes from China

I ordered clothes from Avery & Maren thinking they were a New York based company. That's what they claim. But they're actually in China. The clothes I got looked nothing like the pictures on the website. Just a cheap fake version of what I thought I was buying.

When I tried to return it they told me I'd have to pay a huge shipping fee to send it back to China. Not NY. Or they offered me a gift card instead. Like I want to buy more stuff from them after this.

Their whole business is just fake stuff and they need to be stopped. Do not shop with Avery & Maren.
