Email about book publishing turned into a money request
He kept talking to me about getting my book published and it all sounded legit at first. Then he started asking for money. I ended up sending $650 before I realized something was off. He wanted it for some kind of fee or advance payment, I dont even remember exactly what he called it now.
When I tried to look into it more the phone number he gave me was 1(408) 622-9836 and the address was just NJ USA. Nothing checked out. I feel pretty stupid about it honestly. I just wanted to get my book out there and they knew exactly what to say.
