Email pretending to be legit asked me for info

I got contacted by someone through email at [email protected]. They acted like they were legit and had a real reason to reach out. The info they gave and the instructions seemed believable at the time so I didn't think much of it.

They asked me to give them information and do something related to a transaction. It all seemed normal at first.

After I looked at it more closely I realized it was a scam. The person wasn't who they said they were. They were just trying to get money or my personal info. I lost $56 from this.
