Website keeps charging me $29.99 after I bought a phone holder

I bought a cell phone holder from beverlygoods.com and that should have been the end of it. Instead they keep trying to charge me $29.99 at least 5 times a week. My card has fraud detection and it keeps catching it and blocking it, thank god.

Turns out you have to go to their website and remove your name to make it stop. That charge was never disclosed up front. I should get an invoice for a charge I didn't authorize.

This company is in CA and I think the FTC and DOJ should look into this. They shouldn't be allowed to keep doing business like this in the US. Shut them down.

Membership charge I never signed up for after storage bin order

I ordered 3 XXL foldable storage containers on 7/29 and paid for the 1x upgrade that was supposed to make them more durable with rigid edges. What showed up was 3 of the exact same product, no upgrade at all. And they're smaller than the pictures made them look.

Then today I noticed a charge on my account for $29.99 from 8/26. When I went looking for their contact info to ask about it, I realized it was some kind of membership fee. I never signed up for any membership. I made one purchase, that's it.

I did email them and they said the fee would be corrected, so I guess we'll see. But it really bothers me that they're just creating memberships for people without asking. I'm sure a lot of folks don't even notice the charge.
