But the Florida correctional institution where he's actually housed already did an internal sweep and confirmed this organization has no authorization or connection to him at all. No legal connection, nothing.
So they're collecting donations from people all over the world and it's not authorized. I didn't lose any money myself but I wanted to report it because it seems like a scheme using his case to get money from people who don't know any better.
