Lady called about a work from home job shipping packages
She had an address in L, NC. I ended up losing $500 total to this. It just didn't add up after a while. I never got any real packages or pay. Just kept being asked for more money. I wish I would've caught on sooner.
Job offer turned into me losing money on packages
After rejecting a real job, I asked when I would get my first pay because I am out of money to buy gas and ink to keep printing. They said I would get pay after one and a half months. I checked their location and even when I call to talk with customer services, no response. A few days later, I talked with someone and they told me to go pick up more packages.
I did research again and found that they are scammers. I've worked almost a month now after using all my personal money to drive all over the state and New Jersey. I am not sure now what to do.
Job offer turned out to be moving stolen stuff
They gave me an address in Tualatin, Oregon to go to, 20900 SW 120th Ave. I went there and picked up the stuff and shipped it like they said. I didn't think anything of it until I realized I wasn't getting paid for the work. I called the number they gave me, (971) 402-0221, a few times but no answer.
I lost about 5 dollars in gas money driving out there. But the real problem is I think I was helping them move stolen property. They never paid me and now I'm worried I'm in trouble for something I didn't know was happening.
