Job listing on Indeed asked me to pay $124 for licensing

I applied for a job on Indeed called "Financial Advisor" from a company listed as "Camacho and associates." The pay range was $50,814.02 to $100,000.00 a year for part-time/full-time. They messaged me directly on Indeed and set up a 30 minute Zoom interview. Before the meeting they asked if I was 18 or older and had a clean criminal record and social security number.

The interview was scheduled for 10/1/2026 at 2:00 PM Pacific time. When I joined, she went over basic requirements for the job and I asked a few follow up questions. Then she tried to pitch me a $124 fee to "obtain my licensing." She said if I didn't pay it, I wouldn't get the job.

The Zoom meeting code was 985-411-5046 and the password was business. The phone number is (805) 608-0209 and the website is https://www.indeed.com/viewjob.
