Email from someone claiming to be a lawyer named Eric Levitt
They told me to send a copy of my driver's license to an email address. The email was [email protected] and the domain they used was canadatrustcu.com. That domain looks like it's pretending to be a real financial institution.
I figured out it was a scam before sending anything. I didn't send my ID or any money. They also had a phone number (437) 889-2666 and an address listed at 10 Dundas St. W #2702, Toronto, ON M5G 1Z3, Canada.
