Cruise paid in full but got canceled by travel agent
I was emailed by connie this week that all reservation are being canceled and that her company is no more. Where's my money? I contacted the cruise line and yes, she canceled it, but she had only placed a non refundable deposit of $500. I was told it was paid in full.... where's the rest? Also, in order for me to use the $500, I need the TRAVEL ADVISOR to sign off on it,..... which she can't because her attorney won't allow her to speak to clients.
After reading other peoples struggles with the agent, I consider myself lucky it wasn't a larger amount.
Booked a trip through someone I knew and lost all our money
Then a local news article came out saying she took other people's money and cancelled their trips, just kept the money. So we reached out to double check our reservations for the flights, hotels, and the travel insurance. Turns out none of it was valid anymore.
We haven't gotten a penny back. Her email is [email protected] and the address she used was 19001 Olive Street in Omaha, NE.
