Call about student loan payments from a company nobody knows
The thing is they had ALL my info. My PII, my student loan information, everything. So before I paid anything I contacted student aid and also the default resolution group to check if CARE was actually affiliated with them.
Neither one of them had ever heard of Care Processing company. They don't work with them at all. All the loan stuff and resolutions get handled internally between student aid and default resolution because of the government funds. No third party is supposed to be handling any of it.
