Phone call saying charges of $3,000 and $2,000 were authorized

Someone called from what showed up as the Chase Credit Card number. They said we made charges for $3,000 and $2,000 and that they were going to be authorized right away.

It was a scam call from a spoofed number. I didn't lose any money but the whole thing was strange and didn't make sense.
