Mail about a $250 gift card with a claim number

I got this letter in the mail saying I’m supposed to receive unclaimed rewards, a $250 Shoppy gift card. It had a claim number on it, RW13930987, and said I needed to go to their website or call them at (800) 978-5462. The address on it was 132 Maple Dr, Dorsey, IL 62021.

It just felt off to me. There’s an email too, [email protected]. I didn’t ask for any of this. I never signed up for anything like that. It’s weird because the letter makes it sound official but something about it didn’t sit right.

I ended up losing $50 because of this. I just wanted to share what happened so it’s out there.
