Charged twice for Norton by Code Yogi remote support

I started having computer problems back in September 2025 and somehow ended up letting Code Yogi remote into my computer to fix it. Not even sure how I found them honestly. They charged me $599 and said it came with 5 years of Norton. Seemed fine at the time, they fixed the computer and I didn't think about it again.

Then in 2026 the computer started acting up again and they fixed it again. This time they told me my Norton was incompatible with Microsoft. Something about it being for Microsoft 2008 and I have 2011. That made no sense to me because I had 2011 last year when they set it up. They installed Malwarebytes and said I had to pay $1,499 for six years of Norton plus whatever the update cost. I did tell them I didn't understand why the version was wrong this time.

I'm beyond embarrassed that I got scammed. Total came out to $2,198 between the two times. Their number is (844) 403-3427 and the website is thecodeyogi.com.
