I am sick and tired of the charges

I am trying to cancel this account and it is proving to be extremely difficult. I am going to continue trying to get rid of the stupid app once I find a way to cancel my account. If I can't buy a yearly subscription to an online reading app, I will not use the product again.

Book ad kept charging my card every day

I was reading a novel online and there was an ad for a different book. It let me read part of it free, then a pop up said I could keep reading for a full day for $4.49. So I put my debit card number in. After that I couldn't even continue to read the book.

Then the charges started. My card was getting hit $9.99 two times every day and $19.99 twice a week. It showed up on my statement as PayPal colpictures llc. I never signed up for any of that. I tried to figure out who to contact but the website was rocnovel and the email they had was [email protected]. The phone number listed was (336) 756-0512 but nobody answered when I called.

I lost about $800 total before I finally got my bank to stop it. This all started from just trying to read a book and paying that one small fee. It didn't make any sense. I just want people to know what happened.
