Text about a work from home job that seems off

I got a text the other day from someone named Mavis saying she was with ConnectWise Inc. She said they looked at my profile and thought I’d be a great fit for some work-from-home QA testing job. Easy work, like 1.5 hours a day, and they pay $200 to $600 a day. That just didn’t add up to me.

I didn’t apply for anything like that. I don’t even know how they got my number. The email they used was [email protected] which doesn’t look like a real company email at all.

I didn’t lose any money or anything, but I wanted to report it because it feels like one of those fake job scams. Just wanted to warn someone about it.
