"Howard" called me from (833)587-9248 claiming to be from the "Consumer Allowance Funding Center" and left me a voicemail. It was the same situation as detailed previously by Reporter_91cqeA on Sep 02, 2026, he told me I could reach him at (727)615-6808.

Phone call about a loan I never applied for

I got a voicemail from a guy named Howard. He said he was from the Funding Center over at Consumer Allowance. The message said I had a hardship approval for a loan just over $30,000. He said it was tied to an application I submitted late last year.

I never applied for any loan. I don't know what this is about. The number that called was (727) 615-6808. I didn't lose any money because I didn't call them back, but this whole thing feels strange. They made it sound like I was approved for something I never asked for. I just wanted to report it so no one else gets confused by this.
