Call from Mary about unpaid blood work from two years ago
She wanted me to pay it that same day, on the first phone call, or they would report me to the credit bureaus. The bill was unfamiliar so I checked with my doctor and the supposed creditor. The bill or services did not exist.
I never got any invoices from the medical lab over the last two years. Them wanting me to pay immediately tipped me off. I told them I refuse to pay unless they gave me written documentation. When I asked for their address and license number, they hung up on me.
