Letter saying my new business needs an OSHA safety manual
I didn't pay anything. The email they used was [email protected] and the phone number was (202) 838-0037. There's also a PO Box in Washington DC, 73127.
Just wanted to report this.
Phony OSHA safety manual form right after my LLC got approved
The whole thing is a scare tactic. OSHA documentation only comes from OSHA and it's free. I don't have any employees and I work out of my house so none of this even applies to me.
Very obviously a scam.
Letter quoting OSHA laws and demanding I buy a safety manual
The letter had a phone number (202) 838-0037 and a PO Box in Washington DC, 73127. There was also an email, [email protected]. Nothing about this made sense to me.
I didn't lose any money but it's clearly a phishing thing. They're using public info to make it look like you have to buy something. Just a heads up for other small business owners.
Got a fake official letter asking for money right after starting my LLC
It's made to look totally official, but it's not. It came from PO Box 73127 in Washington, DC. The contact phone is (202) 838-0037 and the email is [email protected]. It felt off from the start. I didn't send any money, but it's worrying that they send this stuff out pretending to be the government right when you start a business.
