Ad for fake handmade garden art from an AI artist

I saw an ad for Craft Folk on Google and social media. It looked legit. There was this whole article from a garden magazine about an artist named Dorothy “Dot” Calloway making stuff in her NC studio. It had a nice story about helping pollinators and everything. So I ordered some of her hand-crafted garden items.

Turns out it’s all fake. The journalist, the artist, the reviews, the photos – all AI generated. What I got was cheap junk shipped from China. I tried to find a real person to talk to about returning it. No luck. The only option they gave me is to ship everything back to a Chinese address on my own dime. I’m out $135.
