Trailer listed on Craigslist wanted deposit before VIN
They said they would hold the trailer for me if I sent a small refundable deposit first. But they wouldn't give me the VIN before I paid. I asked for the VIN and they said they would send it when they got home, only if they still had the trailer. They also kept saying people were still texting about it, like they were trying to rush me.
I didn't send any money so I didn't lose anything. But it felt like they just wanted a deposit before showing any proof the trailer was real.
