Email about car wrap job that sent me a check for $2,650
About a week later I got a text saying my werks pay had been mailed to me and I was given a tracking number. The next day I got a large envelope from the United States Postal Service with a check for $2,650. That's when I became suspicious. I literally did nothing and that's a lot of money.
They told me to either use mobile banking or an ATM to deposit the check then send a screenshot for fund approval. I lied and said I don't have a bank account and would just use a branch from their bank to cash it. They told me to go to a check cashing place. I lied again and said I couldn't. Then they stopped talking to me.
