Phone call saying my wages are being verified

Got a call from this number 1(208) 813-1688. The guy said something about my wages, source of income, and assets being verified right now. He said federal law won't let him leave details on voicemail. That didn't make any sense to me.

He said prior to some order being completed I could call him back and tell my side of the story. Press one and ask for David Dorsey. I don't know what order he's talking about. I never got anything in writing from anyone. I didn't call back because it felt strange. Just wanted to report this in case someone else gets the same call.
