Call about a summons for a loan I never took out
This rep told me someone has been trying to deliver a summons for a court date and that they would put a lien on my house for a "VIP Loan Shop" loan. They had my SSN, email, and address. They said the loan was deposited into an old bank of mine, but it never was. They gave me a bank account number that is not mine either.
They said the loan was for $2958 but if I paid $2366 it wouldn't go to court. She said they would come to my job to give me the summons. I told her I would wait for the summons to get more info and she just said "bye" and hung up on me.
