Email about accountant job that led to a Teams link with a virus

I got an email from [email protected] saying they were impressed with my qualifications for an Accountant position at Days Inn. The person signed it Oliver Bennett, HR Team. They asked me to confirm my email address for a Microsoft Teams meeting invitation.

Then I got a Teams calendar link. It said the invite only works on PC and laptop, not mobile phones. There was a button to join the appointment through the Microsoft Teams App.

The link had a virus attached to it. I didn't lose any money but I wanted to warn others about this. The whole thing seemed off from the start.
