Phone call saying sealed document was coming to my house
He gave me a case number, RB-631159. Said if they couldn't deliver the document it would be escalated and classified as failure to comply. Then he told me any follow up should go to the issuing office at 877-834-7928.
The number he called from was (310) 448-1280, out of Los Angeles CA. Nothing about it made sense and I didn't lose any money, but it felt like a phishing thing.
Voice mail about a sealed document and file number
He gave a file number, RB-600160. He said if no contact is established it would be escalated and classified as a failure to comply. Then he said to press one to be transferred to my file review manager or to call 877-834-7928. The number that called me was 877-834-7929.
It all sounded off. I don't know who these people are or what document they're talking about. There was no company name I could actually look up, just that long department name. I didn't press one and I didn't call back.
Phone call about a sealed field document from James Owens
He didn't have any file number or anything. Then he said if I don't make contact it would be escalated and classified as a failure to comply. He left a different number to call back, 877-834-7198, which isn't even the number he called from.
I don't know what this is about and it doesn't make sense.
