Paid for prayer intentions to Lourdes and nothing happened

I saw this thing for "Friends of Lourdes" and they said they would take my prayer intentions to the grotto in France. I thought it was legit, you know, like a real religious thing. I paid the $35 through their website, which went through Digistore24Inc. I didn't realize until later that they are copying a real place in Miami called Friends of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, Inc. which is a 501(c)(3).

I sent my intentions and paid, and that was it. No confirmation, no nothing. I tried the email they had, [email protected], and the phone number (800) 356-7947 but no one picks up. Their address is 360 Central Ave Suite 800, Saint Petersburg, FL 33701. I just feel stupid for falling for it. I wanted to believe it was real. It's not about the money as much as it is the deception. They make you think your prayers are being handled and it's just a scam.
