Paid for roadside help and got sent a refund link that wanted $99
I spent hours trying to get someone on the phone. I gave up on that and just tried to get my $60 refund instead. The link took me to a page saying there are no refunds for basic service. I did everything they told me to do and ended up right back at the same number I started with.
Every time I called I got rerouted somewhere else. One person told me there were no supervisors available, then a few minutes later I was handed off to a "supervisor." Another person said they were just an answering service and actually had a sheet in front of them that said there is no billing, customer service, or direct business phone number for the company. The people who cancelled my service in the first place were hard to understand and either didn't get what I was saying or acted like they didn't.
