Email about a job that turned into asking for banking info

I got an email from someone at Dunavant Transport about a job. It seemed normal at first, just like a regular employment thing. They told me to download Signal to talk more. Then things got weird when they asked for my banking info to cash a check for office equipment. That's when I realized it was a scam. I feel stupid for not seeing it sooner. The email was from [email protected] and their website is dunavantransport.com. They're supposedly in Jacksonville, FL. I didn't lose any money, but I wanted to warn others.
