Call about a debt from over 10 years ago

Someone claiming to be from a company called ED Legal called me with a reference number for a supposed company called PRG Associates. She said she was calling before serving me. So I contacted the company that claimed to be PRG Associates and they told me I owed a debt of over $1000.

I asked for proof and they sent me a signed contract from over 10 years ago. I told them I was disputing the debt and asked for more proof like payment history to verify the balance owed. The guy got upset and said I would be served and my lawyer could file a motion, then he hung up.
