Job offer turned into a $350 course payment

I got an email from [email protected] about a job. It seemed legit at first, they talked about the position and everything. Then they said before I could start I had to take this course that cost $350.00.

I paid it because I really needed the work. After that, nothing. No more emails, no replies when I asked about next steps. The phone number they gave was (877) 233-4324 but no one picks up. They’re supposedly in Binghamton, NY but I’m not even sure that’s real.

I just feel stupid for sending the money. It was a lot for me and I don’t know what to do now.
