Letter about a life insurance policy from a stranger

I got this letter in the mail from Eric Levitt Law Offices, LLP. It's from an address in Toronto, 10 Dundas St W #2702. The letter says they have a deceased client named Mr. Bruce Tate who had a "Permanent life insurance policy" worth ten million nine hundred and ten thousand nine hundred US dollars. They claim it's being held at a reputable bank and that it's unclaimed.

I have no idea who this Bruce Tate person is. Never heard of him. The letter makes it sound like I might be connected to this money somehow, which doesn't make any sense to me. They listed a website, www.ericlevittlaw.com, and an email, [email protected]. Also a phone number, (433) 889-2666.

I didn't lose any money to this, but it just felt strange. Why would they send this to me? I didn't call them or anything. Just wanted to report this so others know about it.
